![]() Customizations, like the QuickAccess Toolbar, are not part of any template, and they do get transferred in the upgrade Styles and Building Blocks, which are parts of templates, are ignored even in the default templateįor "Blank document", which is the Normal template. ![]() Under "File>Options>Advanced>General>User templates." I guess, the new Office does not want you to create new files based on old templates, such as by renaming my old "Normal.dotm" template "Normal|Pre.dotm", without adjusting the new Normal.dotm to inheritĪny of the settings from the old one. ![]() I should have said that my old templates are still intact in their original locations, just that Office 2013 didn't seem to recognize them by offering them as options to open new documents in, even though, oddly enough, this same template location is indicated
